Salted Peace Books is where my curiosity about the world meets my love of writing, creating, exploring, and asking questions.
I have always been fascinated by the stories behind things. The places we travel through. The roads we follow. The people who came before us. The cars we drove. The clothes we wore. The things we invented. The mistakes we made. The beauty we created. And all those strange, fascinating pieces of history that somehow helped shape the world we are living in today.
I do not want to simply repeat facts from a history book.
I want to know the story.
What happened? Why did it happen? Who was really behind it? What did we get right? What did we completely screw up? What came from it? And why does any of it still matter?
My books wander wherever curiosity takes me, through history, travel, culture, automobiles, fashion, forgotten places, nostalgia, human ingenuity, and the extraordinary stories tucked inside seemingly ordinary things.
And because these stories are being told through my eyes, there will always be a little of me woven into them.
Wonder. Humor. Sass. Reflection. Heart. A little salt. And hopefully, somewhere along the journey, a little peace.
Because the world is full of stories worth remembering.
I intend to go find them.
